Done for Pixelbrush's "Fan Art Confession" event... Raistlin Majere, a character from the DragonLance Chronicles, and possibly the coolest mage to ever grace the pages of a fantasy series. I grew up reading DragonLance, and I remember trying to redraw the official artwork done by Larry Elmore when I was little.
It's not as polished as the rest of my work, but I wanted to post it here anyway as a little tribute to a book series I still adore.
Awesome. I have to agree that Raistlin is the greatest mage to ever grace the pages of a fantasy novel. Then again, I'm partial to powerful neutral-evil characters

Very nice, I love Raistlin as well, and oddly enough whenever I listen to System of a Down I always think of him (maybe because I listened to them whenever I read the books).
I like your rendition, odd, I've never imagined the Staff of Magus as having that small of an orb, but it makes sense, hehehe.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
