Mello from Death Note.
I found this lurking in the depths of my hard drive… to give you an idea of how old it is, I sketched it when episode 35 first aired in Japan.  I think I was peeved at how much of his involvement they cut out.Wasn’t planning on doing more fanart, but Mello’s a neat character, the sketch was pretty far along, and I enjoyed the excuse to play around with Painter’s palette knives.  So I took an hour to finish it up. It's messy, but I think I need to do more paintings that are a little messy. |
