"I wish for nothing
But a purer sky"
_

Ihkahrii'ehl of the Dhuriiehm.

One of my oldest and most precious characters, one I have tried to paint over and over. Finally, after a rather drastic overhaul in appearance (he was more or less an albino in all my past depictions) I think I found him for good. :)

The incident with his arm was his own fault.

Painter and PS, per usual.

I don't know for how long I've known this work of yours but I find it always amazing. The expression, the perhaps unusual? but natural body type/colour/face, even the landscape is just. I don't even know I really like it. It's very original, very unusual and the arm gives it a story even deeper.
I love it xD

I have a thing about characters with missing arms: particularly the left arm. For some reason, its a theme that has cropped up in my own work a few times. I'm sure its something psychological. Must be a subconcious metaphor for something I'm unaware of. @.@

Anyhoo, this is classy yet morbid, like all the work I've seen in your gallery. I applaud you, senorita!

woah, interesting looking character. I like the mutilation - it's much braver than simply having a scar or something that's purely aesthetic. Too many character either seem to go through fight-filled lives and never get touched by it, or come out with an eye patch and a load of stuck-on scars :P

I also like the design of the arm. the straps make it look far more usefula and real than if it were just stuck on like the traditional pirate's hook. The expression, pose, everything work really well in the image as well. I'd love to hear more about this character :)

Thanks very much. :) I put a lot of thought into the design of the arm/harness to make it feel like it could work, even if it isn't terribly practical hahahah.

it certainly looks well thought out. makes the character more unique and intersting visually too. The only thing I can think of to make it look slightly better, and possibly open up a few more poses, is maybe a 'grip' thing for the other hand, so he could sort of use it two handed :P

the main reason I'm no good at designing fantasy stuff is that I try to think too hard about what would really work and just get nowhere :XD:

I doubt I could hack my own arm off. I can handle pain but WOW.

You did a great job on the realism here. I doubt I can describe what I love best. :D
