A quick image done for an IFX column on how to paint fur (it'll be in issue 72, for anyone curious); I quite like it so I'm throwing it up here. :) It's one of my many cats, Lydia. Perhaps I'll do a series and paint them all!

Lydia's nickname is The Pest. She is obnoxiously affectionate and always slightly grouchy.

Mostly painted in PS, with a quick once-over in Corel Painter for some extra texture.
