 Read the full story in my journal: [link]Once I find the time to finish this piece, I will move this deviation to scraps and upload the finished version. Thank you again, so much, for your support.  ______ This painting was stolen from me last week. I've chosen to display it as an informal photograph to honor the fact I never got the chance to finish it. I have been working on it since August, trying to make it the best acrylic painting I was capable of. Even unfinished it was hands down my best acrylic work ever. I can't convey how devastated I am.  I hesitated about posting this in my galleries, but I decided I should. I am very proud of it, and want people to see and appreciate it even though it's gone. I also want to give a public FUCK YOU to the bastard who stole it. Because I poured so much love into this image, I do not want to lose it forever, so I am looking into finishing it digitally (using the photos I have of it as a base) and printing it on canvas and stretching it over wooden bracers. It's something I was going to explore with my digital work this spring anyway. A digital print will not be the same, but at east I will have it back in some form. The character is Mhegoriah, of one my Dhuriiehm warriors. |
